From understanding Dutch to actually using it. A small-group online programme for internationals who want to make Dutch a more natural part of their everyday life.
Dutch Sprint
You can follow a conversation in Dutch.
You understand much more than you can say.
You've completed A2 or even B1.
But speaking spontaneously is different. Maybe you know what you want to say, but can’t find the words quickly enough. Or you simply don’t have enough opportunities to practice Dutch with people around you.
Dutch Sprint gives you a place, routine and the confidence to use Dutch in real life.
The Dutch Sprint Approach
-
Discover real Dutch
We work with authentic material rather than relying only on textbook dialogues.
You'll encounter the kind of Dutch people actually use while continuing to build your vocabulary, common expressions, pronunciation and grammar.
-
Talk about something that matters
Every week has a central theme that gives your Dutch a context.
You'll prepare before the sessions and use what you've discovered to have conversations, ask questions and share experiences.
-
Build your language as you speak
Grammar isn't something you study separately and hope to remember later.
We introduce useful language building blocks when they help you express yourself more clearly, accurately or naturally.
-
Take Dutch into your life
Every week ends with a speaking challenge. Maybe you ask a colleague a question or simply stay in Dutch a little longer than you normally would.
We'll prepare for it together first. Then you go and try.

What learners say
The cycle
Keep going. Your Dutch is a long-term investment.
A language doesn't become part of your life in six weeks.
It takes regular exposure, practice, repetition and time to turn it into something you can access more naturally.
That's why Dutch Sprint is designed as a recurring six-week cycle. You can stay with your group for another Dutch Sprint, continue building on what you've learned and gradually work towards more spontaneous, flexible and confident communication.
As your Dutch develops, the topics, language and challenges develop with you.
I know what it feels like to understand a language but not feel ready to speak it.
When I started learning Spanish, I took the intensive route:
learn quickly, get my certificate and move on. But I soon discovered that knowing what to say and actually saying it are two different things.
That experience made me curious about how we learn a new language. I went on to study second-language acquisition at university and became a certified NT2-specialist.
Conversation & Co brings those ideas together: meaningful language, real-world exposure and lots of opportunities to speak in a small, supportive group.
